Street Art in the wild

By snurfson / Posted on 28 January 2011

Gang signals? Controversies? Graffiti continues to create disagreement amongst city officials and graffitists who wish to display and appreciate work in public locations…

Critical opinion is sharply divided as to whether Graffiti art represents a form of social liberation or is merely a voguish exploitation of street vandalism by the commercial art market. We observe and support artists in the wild.

Forget city officials – they wouldn’t know what to aesthetically do with most buildings in their cities. At least when graffiti artists are bombing them, they bring a charm to the otherwise ugly walls.
